Primo Alonso Exhibition

I am part of “God is in the Details” at Gallery Primo Alonso 29th October 2010 – 5th December 2010 presented by co-curators Medeia Cohan-Petrolino and Justin Hammond.

My piece is the continuation of the Bodyca$h series from Spring 2010 Catlin Art Prize.

I breakdown my body to sellable parts, consumer goods up for grabs on the organs and tissues trafficking market, official market and cadaver market. With this new piece I present a placenta and umbilical cord cast in glass. Anti-Aging Skin Products such as Wrinkle Creams And Face Masks, Aftershaves, Eye Creams, Breast Creams And Anti-Cellulite Creams, Shampoo And Conditioner, placenta injections, Stem cells from Umbilical cord blood banking, are all products and uses made of these two organs.
