The coins is perforated and has a polish finish. Holes allow consumer to look through and see goods they are about to purchase. The polished finish creates a mirror which makes the consumers conscious during the act of buying. Through this object (coin) they obtain some other object (goods). The more coins are being used (spent), the more mirror surface becomes cloudy, thus making consumers less conscious of the act of buying and more focused on goods. Both sides of the coin are identical expect for the writing which is inverted from side to side.
